Kaufman Rossin’s Gregory Levy to Speak at Private Investment Funds Tax Master Class

Kaufman Rossin’s Gregory M. Levy, CPA, an audit and financial services principal, will be speaking at the 4th Annual Private Investment Funds Tax Master Class on Thursday, May 16th, in New York.

Levy will lead a discussion alongside Steve Yardumian of Walsh, Jastrem & Browne, LLP, on “Wash Sales, Straddles, Short Sales, Constructive Sales and Other Potential Pitfalls.” The presentation will focus on short sales rules affecting character of gains and holding periods, as well as constructive ownership transactions, among other tax-related matters.
