Forensic Accounting Manager

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Manager Level litigation consulting professional with experience in commercial litigation matters to join our thriving forensic advisory and valuation services practice group.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required
  • CPA, preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lead teams of professionals to address all facets of forensic accounting – marital estate matters, lost profits, business valuation, economic damages, bankruptcy and fraud
  • Ability to communicate with attorneys and clients to facilitate all aspects of engagements
  • Ability to direct and/or perform investigative accounting and discovery tasks
  • Must be proficient with Excel, Word and QuickBooks
  • Experience with FinPlan, preferred
  • Superior client relations skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions



  • Analyze client documents; extract and summarize relevant information 
  • Search for origins of entries and unrecorded transactions; review and verify source documents
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the flow of information and documentation on assigned matters
  • Work with supervisors and co-workers to create and modify presentations, industry articles and attend business development calls and functions, as directed
  • Interact with clients in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the organization’s clients
  • Actively works to identify and minimize risk on projects and proposals
  • Demonstrate the ability to draft letters, documents requests and section of reports for review by senior staff
  • Provide timely and consistent updates to supervisors on the progress of work assignments
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required
