James R. Kaufman Elected to Adrienne Arsht Center Foundation Board
Kaufman Rossin announced today the election of James R. Kaufman, CPA, CEO and founding principal of Kaufman Rossin, onto the Adrienne Arsht Center Foundation’s board of directors. The foundation raises private contributions to fund the Performing Arts Center Trust.
Members of the Adrienne Arsht Center Foundation Board advocate the center’s mission to enlighten, educate and entertain the community through transformational arts and cultural experiences. Board members also support the center’s vision to embrace excellence, celebrate differences, renew the spirit and engage diverse communities through the power of the performing arts.
“I’m pleased to join the Adrienne Arsht Center Foundation Board,” Kaufman said. “I admire and applaud the center’s work and mission. As a long-time supporter of the arts, I look forward to helping advance the center’s mission across South Florida.”
Kaufman co-founded Kaufman Rossin in 1962 and has been recognized as one of the South Florida Business Journal’s Top 100 Leaders in Accounting. Under Kaufman’s leadership, the firm has won several awards for its culture, service, and performance, including “Top 100 Firm” in 2017 from Inside Public Accounting and “Best of 2017” in four categories from the Daily Business Review.
He is a University of Florida alumnus and a member of the University Hall of Fame.
