Janet is an Accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers, she is Accredited in Business Valuation from the AICPA, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and New York.
Janet Chase joined Kaufman Rossin in 2014 as a director in the firm’s forensic, advisory and valuation services department. Her responsibilities include directing the valuations of business enterprises, equity interests, and various tangible and intangible assets associated with businesses. In addition, Janet will direct estate and gift tax valuations, ESOP related valuations, and valuations for matrimonial and litigation matters.
Her experience encompasses diverse industries and includes clients ranging from small privately-held organizations to multi-billion dollar enterprises. She also has proven experience in negotiating with the IRS and the PCAOB.
Janet’s business valuation expertise includes deal advisory, financial reporting, tax advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, tax compliance and planning, equities/debt, option models, venture capital, allocation of firm value among equity securities, creditor advisory, impairment analysis, corporate advisory, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, fairness opinions, IPOs and stock options, and warrants.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester.
