Janet Chase directs valuations of business enterprises, equity interests and tangible and intangible assets associated with businesses. She also leads valuations related to estate and gift tax, matrimonial and litigation matters.

Her clients range from small privately-held organizations to multi-billion dollar enterprises in a variety of industries. Moreover, Janet has proven experience negotiating with the IRS and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Janet’s business valuation expertise includes deal advisory, financial reporting, tax advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, tax compliance and planning, equities/debt, option models, venture capital and allocation of firm value among equity securities. She also has experience in creditor advisory, impairment analysis, corporate advisory, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, fairness opinions, IPOs and stock options and warrants.

Before joining Kaufman Rossin in 2014, Janet was as a senior manager in a Big Four firm’s transaction advisory services practice.

Active in the community, Janet serves as president of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.

She is an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) and a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.
