Kaufman Rossin Lands on Top Again in Accounting Today’s “Best Firms to Work For” National Survey

For the fourth consecutive year, Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, has been nationally recognized as one of the “Best Firms to Work For” by Accounting Today. The company placed first in the large firm category, receiving the recognition during the publication’s Growth & Profitability Summit on Oct. 29 in Boca Raton, Fla.

The list of accounting firm participants is created in conjunction with Best Companies Group and is made up of a total of 100 firms, split into three groups: 50 small firms (15-49 employees), 45 midsized firms (50-249 employees) and five large firms (more than 250 employees). Nominated accounting firms from across the country were evaluated based on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, in addition to the results from an employee survey. The combined scores determined the top firms and the final ranking.

This year’s win holds special meaning for Kaufman, Rossin as it celebrates 50 years in business. The company is a pioneer in putting the interest of its employees first and this philosophy continues to serve as a prototype for success allowing the firm to retain top talent year-after-year and improve efficiency and growth initiatives.

“For five decades our strategy has been to build meaningful relationships with our employees,” said Blain Heckaman, managing principal of Kaufman, Rossin. “It is always an honor to receive this award.  We genuinely want our employees to succeed and achieve their own professional goals as the firm reaches new heights.”
