A Labor of Love

I am very proud to say that Kaufman Rossin has been my professional home for 31 years. Not only do we seek to provide the best accounting services in the country, but we are also very philanthropic, and the Firm is supportive of everyone’s community efforts and involvement. It’s these kinds of initiatives that we truly believe in and make us more than just accountants – we really do see beyond the numbers.

For example, one place where I’m involved is Temple Beth Am.  Temple Beth Am is a special place, home to more than 1,300 families.  My wife Adrian and I have been members of Temple Beth Am for over 18 years.  My children, Rachel and Brian, both attended preschool, religious school, became B’nai Mitzvah and were confirmed at Temple Beth Am.  Not only has the Temple been there for our family in the good times but also in times of sorrow.  So, as you can see, Temple Beth Am is our place of worship and a spiritual home for our family.

I am a man who is passionate about my golf game.  I have been playing for over 21 years so when I was asked to join the golf committee many years ago, I eagerly accepted.  I have been honored to co-chair the Temple golf tournament for the past six years.  The past two years, the event has grown to include golf, tennis, bridge, mah jongg, lunch, dinner and lots of fun.  In addition, I am happy to be a part of a fund raising event that is priced to be inclusive for Temple members and friends.  I am eager to give both my time and money to a community that does so much for so many.

I tell everyone who wants to get involved in a non-profit organization to pick a spot where you want to be, where you will be happy, where you believe in the cause and then those around you will feed off of your positive energy.

Some say running a golf tournament is a lot of work. For me, it’s “A Labor of Love”.
