Deadline Approaching for 2013 Property Tax Appeals

The property appraisers offices for Florida counties recently issued their annual Truth in Millage (TRIM) notices. You should carefully review your notice to make sure your property tax assessments are accurate. We often find that clients’ property assessments are incorrect or inflated.
The Value Adjustment Board (VAB) appeal period is just 25 days from the date of mailing.

Official tax bills for 2013 taxes will be mailed during the last week in October for collection during the month of November.
