Top 5 Reasons Why I Believe Kaufman, Rossin is Florida’s Best Company to Work For

Back in February I was hired as a marketing intern at Kaufman Rossin, one of the top CPA firms in Florida. I had no idea what to expect when I started. I was extremely excited to work at a professional firm, but at the same time I was nervous and scared that it may be a stiff and boring work environment.

After I finished my internship, I knew there was no place I’d rather begin my career than at Kaufman, Rossin.  There are numerous reasons why I love working at Kaufman, Rossin which are some of the reasons why we’ve continuously been ranked one of Florida’s Best Companies to Work For by Florida Trend – see the rankings here. We’ve also been named a Best Place to Work by the South Florida Business Journal for five years and are currently awaiting the results of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For by Accounting Today in which we are a finalist.

So why do I look forward to coming into work each day? Here are my top 5 reasons:

1. The people – The people are the Firm’s greatest assets, and everyone cares for each other and the Firm.  You can’t walk through our hallways without seeing a smiling face.  There is such a thing as fun, upbeat, talented accountants! When I started, I was welcomed by everyone I met, including the partners and Mr. Kaufman himself.
2. The work environment – We have beautiful offices in great locations. Our amenities can’t be beat – who else has an in-house masseuse, gym, sauna, and 3pm Cuban coffee breaks?  Not to mention we have an open-door policy – everyone from staff level to upper management is accessible.
3. We work hard – The employees at Kaufman, Rossin are always trying to exceed our clients’ expectations and offer expert services.  I never expected being given so much responsibility as a new employee nor having mentors devote so much one-on-one time teaching me and helping me grow as a professional.
4. We also play hard – I’ve been given the opportunity to be part of Kaufman, Rossin’s social and community events such as our professional wine events and the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run.  These events have given me the chance to really get to know the people I work with, help the community and have fun!
5. We love what we do – Plain and simple.
