Jamaica Hi-5k Walk/Run

The Jamaican Consul General to Miami, R. Oliver Mair, invites you to participate in the annual “Jamaican Hi-5K Walk/Run” event on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Miramar Regional Park. This Hi-5K Walk/Run is designed to raise funds for the Adopt-a-Clinic initiative by the Ministry of Health in Jamaica. Proceeds from the Hi-5 Run/Walk will benefit five medical clinics across the island.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Adopt A Clinic (AAC) Program seeks to engage the Diaspora and the Jamaican private sector to play a critical role in improving the provision and access to primary health care through philanthropic support. Under the Program, some 100 clinics have been identified for adoption across the island. Our effort is to secure commitment for at least five additional adoptions.
