Amir A. Isaiah Certified as Circuit Court Mediator, Named ‘2013 Attorney to Watch’
Amir A. Isaiah, J.D., LL.M., director of receivership & fiduciary services with Kaufman Rossin, has been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a circuit court mediator. Pursuant to his two-year term, Isaiah will serve as a neutral facilitator helping disputing parties reach a mutual and voluntary agreement.
Certified circuit court mediators are trained specialists who are selected or appointed to a case by the courts. In order to become a certified mediator, a candidate must meet certain educational and training requirements administered by the Florida Dispute Resolution Center, an initiative of the Florida state court system.
Isaiah, a Florida attorney who was recently recognized by Attorney at Law Magazine as one of the “Attorneys to Watch in 2013,” has extensive experience serving as a federal and state court-appointed receiver and as counsel for receiver in a variety of matters.
At Kaufman, Rossin, he provides forensic accounting, fraud investigation and consulting services for law firms, private companies and government agencies.
Isaiah has participated in federal and state government investigations by the FBI, CFTC, SEC, FDIC, IRS, U.S. Dept. of Justice, and Attorney General of Florida, among others.
