Blain Heckaman Recognized as 2017 South Florida Power Leader

Blain Heckaman, CPA, managing principal of Kaufman Rossin, was named one of the 2017 South Florida Power Leaders by the South Florida Business Journal (SFBJ).

The annual Power Leaders list is comprised of the most influential executives from across the region’s private, public and civic sectors. They are the authentic movers and shakers of South Florida’s economic engine, according to the SFBJ. With more than 150 professionals on the list, the criteria used to select honorees better reflects the powerful role a successful and involved executive plays across the tri-county region.

Heckaman has been with the firm for more than 30 years and became the managing principal in 2012. He has helped Kaufman Rossin grow into one of the top-rated public accounting firms in the country with more than 350 employees. He has also previously been recognized as a Top 100 Power Leader by the publication in 2014 and 2015.

In addition, he is past chairman and current member of the board of directors for Voices for Children Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization that raises funds for the Guardian Ad Litem program and is a member of The Strategic Forum.
