Celebrating Their Big 5-0

This autumn, two of our U.S. firms celebrate fifty very successful years in business. Happy birthday to Aronson LLC and Kaufman Rossin.

Both firms have some special activities planned to commemorate this special milestone. Aronson is launching an interactive online timeline, a series of commemorative posters and a gala event this December, welcoming both employees and clients. While Kaufman, Rossin will be throwing an unforgettable 50th anniversary party to celebrate with employees and clients.

Why Change a Happy Formula?

Kaufman Rossin’s positive employee-led philosophy is as much a part of the firm’s culture today as it was when two young accountants, Jim Kaufman and Jay Rossin, founded it in 1962. The firm’s ultimate purpose is the nurturing of all its employees, through their worthwhile and satisfying employment in a successful business.

Jim and Jay wanted to build a firm where people wanted to come to work every day. If employees feel joyful, challenged and fulfilled, they believed, they’ll provide the best possible service for clients.

Fifty years later, their vision is a reality that continues in its positive evolution. Jim and Jay built a successful company that repeatedly wins ‘Best Place to Work” awards and is now one of the fastest-growing accounting and business consulting firms in South Florida and one of the top 100 CPA firms in the U.S.

Kaufman Rossin, with its hedge fund administration affiliate, Kaufman Rossin Fund Services, has grown to more than 330 employees providing a complete array of services to clients from offices throughout South Florida with fund services in Miami, Boston, New York, Dallas and San Francisco. With Jay now retired, Jim as CEO, and Blain Heckaman as the new managing principal, the firm is looking forward to another great 50 years.
