Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Chandrasekar Venkataraman to corporate governance services principal in the risk advisory services practice. Venkataraman leads the firm’s operations and offices in India as managing principal and as director of Kaufman Rossin Professional Services Private Limited.
Venkataraman leverages more than 35 years of progressive corporate governance, risk advisory, compliance, financial management, and accounting experience to help public company and large private company clients address risk-related, financial management and regulatory challenges, maximize value and achieve their business goals.
He establishes strong relationships with corporate executives and boards and advises them on a variety of strategies, including risk assessments, risk prioritization and containment, corporate governance, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and internal controls, internal audits, anti-fraud engagements, financial analyses and data interpretations.

He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA) and has passed the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) exam.

He earned a Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Advanced Accounting and Auditing with first-class honors from the University of Pune, India, and a Lean Six Sigma Certification from Villanova University. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
