Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami Appoints Kaufman Rossin’s Mark Scott
Kaufman Rossin, one of the Top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced that Estate and Trust Services Principal Mark Scott, J.D., LL.M., has been appointed as a member of the 2016-2017 Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami.
Founded in 1949, the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami is the premier local organization for all professionals involved in the estate planning process. The council organizes high-quality seminars and meetings to educate its members and promote best practices. It provides an active forum for networking with the best practitioners in the field.
“I’m honored by the opportunity to join the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami in its mission to educate its members about estate planning topics,” Scott said. “I look forward to working with some of the top professionals in our community.”
Scott’s areas of concentration include complex estate tax planning, gift tax planning, trust tax planning, and pension planning and estate and gift tax return examinations. He is a member of The Florida Bar, including the Tax Section’s Executive Council, the Greater Miami Tax Institute, and the Dade County Bar Association.
