Frank Peña of Kaufman Rossin elected treasurer and finance committee chair for Broward Partnership

Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and the largest independent accounting firm in Florida, announced that Assurance & Advisory Services Principal Frank Peña, CPA, has been elected to serve as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair for the Broward Partnership.

The Broward Partnership was founded in 1999 to help individuals and families find their way back from homelessness. The non-profit organization is a “comprehensive homeless services provider created to rebuild broken lives, most of whom still have plenty of potential to succeed, find happiness, and be productive members of society.” Broward Partnership programs include street outreach, emergency housing, rapid re-housing, and scattered-site permanent supportive housing.

Peña has been involved with the organization since 2015, previously serving as a member of the board of directors and on the finance committee as an advisor.

“As a longtime resident of Broward County, serving the Broward Partnership has taught me that homelessness can happen to anyone and, for many reasons beyond an individual’s control,” said Peña. “It is an important lesson that has made me more empathetic to those who have not had the same advantages that my family has been blessed with, and it motivates me to want to help.”

Peña has over two decades of experience serving a prominent and diverse clientele, providing services in financial reporting and attestation, operational performance and internal control, forecasting and financial modeling, and mergers and acquisition. He co-leads Kaufman Rossin’s manufacturing, distribution and retail industry group.
