Gary Curtis joins Kaufman Rossin as tax director 

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced today that Gary Curtis has joined the firm as a director in the tax practice. 

Curtis brings over 30 years of experience serving attest and non-attest clients as well as private and public clients in the real estate, manufacturing, technology, retail, and professional services industries. His expertise includes tax due diligence, sell-side tax structures, S-Corporation tax, multi-state tax and troubled debt restructuring. He provides tax compliance services for corporations, pass-through entities, executives, and high net-worth business owners and private equity-owned businesses.   

Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Curtis worked at a public accounting firm in South Florida where he reviewed the corporate income tax returns of large groups of foreign-held real estate companies, including blocker corporations and related personal holding companies.  

Curtis earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Phillips University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
