In Memoriam: Kaufman Rossin principal Greg Muzii
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our friend and colleague Greg Muzii, who passed away suddenly on July 18, 2023. Our heartfelt condolences go to Greg’s family during this difficult time.
Greg was a long-time firm member and a principal in Kaufman Rossin’s Miami office. He joined the firm in 2000 and was a leader in the firm’s entrepreneurial services department, where he directed engagements for clients with closely held businesses in a variety of industries.
“As a valued member of the Kaufman Rossin family for 23 years, Greg will be greatly missed, both personally and professionally,” said CEO Blain Heckaman.
He was a talented and caring professional with an unwavering willingness to help, guide, mentor, and counsel.
“Greg was always there when you needed him,” said Principal Meredith Tucker, who leads the firm’s entrepreneurial services practice. “He’d step into a problem with you, check his ego at the door, and work side-by-side towards a solution. It’s part of what made him an incredible friend, colleague, and trusted advisor to our clients.”
An avid sports fan and a native Floridian, Greg earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami and his Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University.
Donations in Greg’s memory may be given to Molly’s Kittens, the non-profit animal welfare organization founded, funded, and managed by Greg, his wife, Beverly, and their two daughters. Visit the Dignity Memorial site to read his obituary.
