James A. Osteen promoted to tax advisory services principal at Kaufman Rossin
Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of James “Andy” Osteen, JD, LL.M., CPA, to principal in the tax advisory services practice.
Osteen provides tax compliance, advisory, and consulting services for various clients, including high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, and tax-exempt organizations. He specializes in individual, S-corporation, family limited partnership, fiduciary, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxation and planning for foreign and domestic clients. Osteen helps fiduciaries with estate and trust tax compliance and administration issues. He also assists foreign and domestic clients with offshore and onshore voluntary disclosure compliance.

Osteen earned his bachelor’s in business administration and accounting/finance, his Juris Doctor and his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as the treasurer for the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and is a member of the Greater Miami Tax Institute and the Florida Bar Association.
