Jill Masur named assurance & advisory services Principal at Kaufman Rossin

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Jill Masur, CPA, to principal in the assurance and advisory services department.

Masur’s extensive knowledge of corporate operations, finance and internal controls makes her an outstanding leader in audit, accounting and consulting engagements. She helps her clients identify opportunities to restructure operations and streamline business processes. Her clients include businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, real estate, healthcare, financial services and cryptocurrency, food and beverage, and franchises.

She works closely with publicly traded companies and specializes in SEC audits, SEC compliance and broker-dealer audits. She also leads the firm’s employee benefit plan practice and leads employee benefit plan audits and compliance.

Masur has been quoted in several professional publications and participates in professional speaking engagements. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale. She previously served on the board of governors of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Council and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami-Dade County’s women’s committee. She is a member of PAWS Broward County Humane Society and the Gold Coast Guild of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
