Kaufman Rossin advances Economic Mobility with The Women’s Fund sponsorship

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 50 firms in the U.S., announced today that it is once again sponsoring the Economic Mobility pillar of The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade (WFMD). Timed to coincide with Equal Pay Day, this renewed commitment reflects the firm’s belief that advancing economic mobility for women strengthens both communities and businesses.

Equal Pay Day marks how far into the new year women must work to earn what men earned the year prior. In Miami-Dade County, women earn approximately 82 cents for every dollar paid to men, with wider gaps impacting women of color, mothers, individuals with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ workers. Through its sponsorship, Kaufman Rossin supports WFMD’s efforts to raise awareness of these disparities and advance solutions.

“As a female principal and a member of The Women’s Fund’s board for over three years, this partnership is deeply personal to me,” said Claudia Sotolongo Gonzalez, CPA, Principal at Kaufman Rossin and Treasurer of The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade. “Kaufman Rossin’s commitment goes beyond financial support — it reflects a genuine dedication to service and to helping women and families in our community to thrive.”

Since 2021, Kaufman Rossin has served as a founding sponsor of the Economic Mobility Pillar, making it one of WFMD’s longest-standing corporate partners in this initiative. The pillar supports programs that address systemic barriers to financial independence for women across Miami-Dade County, including workforce development, financial literacy, and advocacy efforts.

“Kaufman Rossin has always believed that strong communities are built by investing in people,” said Blain Heckaman, CEO of Kaufman Rossin. “Our sponsorship of the Economic Mobility pillar is one of the many ways we bring that belief to life. We are proud to support an organization that is creating meaningful, lasting impact in our region.”

The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade’s Equal Pay public awareness campaign, supported in part by Kaufman Rossin, will run from March 16 through April 12, 2026, with placements across Miami-Dade County highlighting the importance of pay equity to the region’s economic well-being.
