Kaufman Rossin Applauds Historic LGBTQ Supreme Court Ruling

As an organization that values diversity, equality and inclusion, Kaufman Rossin applauds the Supreme Court’s landmark decision this week that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. In the middle of a challenging national conversation about equal rights and social justice, this is good news in the fight for equality.

We support our employees from all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, and gender identities, and have no tolerance for discrimination at Kaufman Rossin. We are proud to stand with the LGBTQ community in celebration of Pride Month and this historic ruling. We are also proud to support organizations doing important work in the local LGBTQ community, including OUT Miami, the National LGBTQ Task Force, and the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber.

On Friday, June 26th, our firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee will continue our employee-driven discussion series, KR Real Talk, closing out Pride Month by talking about issues impacting the LGBTQ community, including the effects of the Supreme Court decision.
