Kaufman Rossin designates Elan Sternberg as director of forensic and litigation services

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the designation of Elan Sternberg, CPA, CVA as director of forensic and litigation services in the firm’s forensic, advisory and valuation services practice.

Sternberg works closely with trial attorneys, in-house counsel, corporate boards, and management teams in the context of complex commercial litigation, fraud, financial investigations, and business and partnership disputes. He also provides dispute consulting and investigative services for various types of engagements, including those that involve economic damages such as lost profits analysis, business interruption calculations, personal damages, intellectual property infringement damages, and construction claims. He also has served as a Court-Appointed Receiver for which he was responsible for resolving disputes, preserving assets and handling the ongoing business operations of a company. He recently served as a Miami-Dade Circuit Court-appointed consultant in the Surfside collapse case, assisting with economic damages valuations for the $1 billion claims fund.

Sternberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh
