Kaufman Rossin Group launches retirement & executive benefits services

Darin Schatzman brings specialized expertise to help businesses attract, retain and reward employees

The Kaufman Rossin Group, which includes one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. as ranked by INSIDE Public Accounting, a registered investment adviser, and an insurance solutions provider, announced a new service line for businesses: Retirement & Executive Benefits. Spearheading this new service line is practice leader Darin Schatzman, CPA, PRP,  who has over 25 years of experience in wealth and benefits consulting.

The Retirement & Executive Benefits practice helps companies attract, retain, and reward employees of all organizational levels through qualified and nonqualified plans, as well as executive benefits offerings. Kaufman Rossin professionals take a consultative approach to plan design, working with each client to structure plans that best fit the needs of their business. The team assists with provider evaluation and selection, fiduciary oversight, risk mitigation, and ongoing plan management.

Schatzman specializes in benchmarking, evaluating, designing, sourcing, and implementing retirement plans for his clients, in addition to consulting on executive benefits for key talent. His background in accounting, financial analysis, and consulting enables him to provide a unique perspective and in-depth advisory services to his clients.

After starting his career at one of the Big Four accounting firms, he worked as a CFO and later extended his experience with a Fortune 500 consulting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional (PRP). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Florida, Fischer School of Accounting and his MBA in Finance from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
