Kaufman, Rossin Hosts 2nd Annual Family Law Seminar
Family law and tax issues were the center of conversation for local business executives, attorneys and entrepreneurs as Kaufman, Rossin held its second annual Family Law Seminar at Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship on Friday, November 16th.
Led by firm principal, Broward practice leader, and event moderator Ed Hirschberg, the free seminar included three presentations on hot button issues impacting family law.
Ed Gannon, a forensic, advisory and valuation services principal, and Joseph Castro, a forensic, advisory and valuation services manager, together led a discussion on the elements of a good financial affidavit.
Following this, James Reto, a forensic, advisory and valuation services principal, provided insight on the analysis of corporate and personal tax returns, while Jeffrey Kinderman, director of business valuation services, gave a presentation that delved into why a judge should believe in a business valuation.
