Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, is partnering with Center for Emerging Art, a Miami-Dade-based 501(c)3 arts organization, to host a free chamber music concert celebrating Spanish and Mexican cultures.

The event is open to any business professional and is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday March 31, at Kaufman, Rossin & Company’s headquarters at 2699 S Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove.  The event will begin with a cocktail hour and light hors d’oeuvres, followed immediately by the concert.

The concert will include eight pieces of music from three different composers:  Manuel Ponce, Carlos Chavez and Gaspar Cassado.  The musicians are Odelyn Gutiez, flutist, Modesto Marcano, violinist, Natasha Marin, pianist and Anna Litvinenko, cellist.

The concert is being funded by a grant given to the Center for Emerging Art and is part of the organization’s 2011 Music Map of The World Chamber Music Festival which is running from March 27 through March 31.  This is its fifth year of presenting the music of famous composers from seven continents. The 2011 festival will focus on the music ofAustria, Germany, Baltic Countries, France and Mexico.  More information on the festival is available at www.centerforemergingart.org.
