Kaufman, Rossin Named Best Accounting Firm to Work For by Accounting Today

MIAMI, Nov. 8, 2011

Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, announced today that it has been named the “Best Accounting Firm to Work For” by Accounting Today in the 4th annual survey of “Best Accounting Firms to Work For“.  This is the third time Kaufman, Rossin has achieved this recognition, placing first in the Large Firm category.

“Putting our employees first is one of the core elements of the firm’s culture,” said founder Jim Kaufman.  “Long before there were Best Place to Work contests, we knew that caring about each other would create a workplace that attracted and retained the best employees, and served our clients well.”

The list of accounting firm participants is created in conjunction with Best Companies Group and is made up of a total of 100 firms, split into three groups: 50 small firms (15-49 employees), 45 midsized firms (50-249 employees) and five large firms (more than 250 employees).

Accounting firms from across the country entered the two-part survey process.  First, each nominated firm’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics were evaluated. Then an employee survey measured the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top firms and the final ranking.  Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.
