Kaufman Rossin Names New Client Services Principal
Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., expanded its range of capabilities in banking consulting and private client advisory services, with the addition of Jay Pelham as Principal, Client Services.
A well-known leader in the South Florida community, Pelham has played top roles at a number of the region’s best-known financial institutions. At SunTrust, Gibraltar Private and BankUnited, he became known for his work developing and leading private banking operations. Most recently, as President of TotalBank, he led the bank through the rapid evolution of its organizational structure and significant improvement of financial results. Pelham was integral in transitioning the company through its sale.
“Our current growth phase is focused on adding value for our clients through expanded advisory services,” said Kaufman Rossin CEO Blain Heckaman. “Jay brings an important new perspective to our advisory service offerings for our clients.”
Pelham fills a unique role as a Kaufman Rossin client services principal. The firm’s bank consulting practice, well-known for regulatory and compliance consulting, will offer a wider array of operational advisory services. The private client group, featuring family office, tax, estate planning and financial wellness advisory services, will also benefit from Pelham’s expertise.
“Listening to client needs and building solutions has always been the most rewarding aspect of my work,” Pelham said. “Joining one of the top firms in our market as they continue to create new value for clients is a natural next step for me.”
