Kaufman Rossin Principal Mark Scott Honored with Business of Pride Award
The South Florida Business Journal honored Mark Scott, JD, LL.M., a principal in Kaufman Rossin’s estate and trust practice, as an Outstanding Voice in its inaugural Business of Pride Awards.
Held in partnership with the Greater Fort Lauderdale LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, the Business of Pride Awards honored LGBTQ executives and straight allies of the community who have demonstrated excellence in business and work to advance the LGBTQ community.
Scott, who specializes in creating and implementing complex estate planning strategies has been with Kaufman Rossin since 2000. He handles gift tax planning, trust tax planning, estate and gift tax return examinations and more for U.S. residents and non-residents. With an active focus on community involvement, he is a member of The Miami Foundation’s executive board and its development committee chair, and he advises the foundation’s GLBT Community Projects committee.
