Kaufman Rossin promotes Robert Matt to principal of tax services 

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., has promoted Robert Matt, CPA, to tax services principal.

Robert specializes in tax consulting, tax planning and tax compliance for real estate and construction companies and their owners, institutional investors, and private equity, including tiered and fund structures. He advises on complex pass-through concepts such as special allocations and other pass-through strategies such as Qualified Opportunity Zone Funds.

He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He has served as Chair and Treasurer of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the FICPA. He has been a member of the firm since 2012.

He earned his Master of Science in Accounting and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University at Buffalo.
