Kaufman Rossin Welcomes Friedman, Cohen, Taubman and Co. to Firm Family

MIAMI, April 11, 2012 – Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, is proud to welcome Friedman, Cohen, Taubman and Company, CPA’s  to the firm family, James R. Kaufman, founding member and managing principal, announced today.  Effective June 1, Friedman, Taubman’s professionals will now be able to offer clients a wider array of top-tier accounting and consulting services.

Friedman, Cohen, Taubman is a Broward County-based boutique CPA firm that has provided tax, audit and consulting  services to businesses for more than 15 years.  FCT partners Andrew S. Taubman and Ronald S. Friedman will join Kaufman, Rossin as principals.  Also joining the firm will be Lynn M. Brewer and Joel G. Galpern, who each bring more than 25 years of experience in the field, as well as their entire team of professionals.

Taubman leads the firm’s international services and provides financial and tax consulting to small and middle market companies.  An active participant in the community, he currently serves on the Jewish Community Foundation Professional Advisory Board and the Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation Committee.  His partner Ron Friedman, who began his career at Kaufman Rossin, focuses his practice on financial statement assurance engagements (including SEC work), and consulting engagements for a wide range of entrepreneurial clients.  He is also active in many community non-profit organizations, including The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Achilles International which supports athletes with disabilities.
