Kaufman Rossin’s Kara Sharp Named an Influential Business Woman

Kaufman Rossin, one of the top CPA firms in the U.S., announced today that Kara Stearns Sharp, CPA, CFF, CFE, forensic, advisory and valuation services principal, has been selected for the South Florida Business Journal’s Influential Business Woman of 2014 Awards.

The award recognizes women in the community with a strong record of leadership, performance and innovation in their respective industries and a dedication to community involvement. The awards luncheon will be held September 5, 2014, at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida.

In 2006, Sharp joined Kaufman Rossin, where she provides business consulting, due diligence, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness testimony for clients in a variety of industries. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is also certified in Financial Forensics.  Sharp is an active member of the Junior League of Miami, Inc., and serves on the board of Educate Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization that serves Miami-Dade County’s foster care youth.
