“I’m honored to be selected to serve on this committee,” Stone said. “Representing attorneys and law firms for decades has given me a keen understanding of the many issues that can lead to grievances,” he said. “As a non-lawyer, I can be very effective in analyzing these situations to assess required compliance.  I look forward to working with other committee members to help resolve issues in the legal community.”

Stone’s decades of experience and active practice in audit, accounting and tax provides a strong foundation for his litigation support work at Kaufman Rossin. He works with individual clients and businesses on engagements ranging from estate and trust planning and matrimonial dissolutions to mergers and acquisitions. He has been qualified as an accounting and valuation expert in United States District Court in Florida and several Circuit Courts in Florida, and he has provided expert testimony in numerous cases.
