Kaufman Rossin’s Robert Matt Named Power Leader in Accounting
Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and one of the largest independent firms in Florida, announced that Tax Manager Robert Matt, CPA, was named one of the 2017 Power Leaders in Accounting by the South Florida Business Journal (SFBJ).
SFBJ’s list recognizes the region’s top “award-winning and trusted counselors who advise and guide their firms, clients and professional associations.”
“Never accepting the status quo when it comes to quality of work, processes and growth of relationships with clients and colleagues is key to a successful career,” Matt said. “It has helped me earn the opportunity to lead the firm’s tax real estate group, which I consider my greatest professional accomplishment.”
Matt has provided consulting, tax planning, and compliance services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals since joining Kaufman Rossin in 2012. His industry experience includes real estate and construction, healthcare, food and beverage, and insurance.
Matt serves as chair of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
