MIAMI, March 7, 2011 – Kaufman, Rossin & Co.’s Michael P. Elkin, a litigation consulting principal, recently spoke at theBroward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) luncheon.

He led a discussion on understanding why expert witnesses can substantially disagree on lost profits/business valuation damage models.

Elkin has been with Kaufman, Rossin since 2002 and leads the firm’s forensic, advisory and valuation services practice. With more than 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, he has served as a court appointed receiver, custodian and liquidating receiver.

Elkin has testified as an expert in several United States District Courts throughout the country as well as bankruptcy court and circuit courts throughout Florida. He has also testified in front of the American Arbitration Association in several states.
