KRFS Earns High Marks in Global Custodian’s 2011 Hedge Fund Administrative Survey

NEW YORK – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS) raises the bar once more by ranking high among hedge fund administrators in the 16th annual survey of hedge fund clients conducted by Global Custodian magazine. KRFS received an overall score of 6.74 on a seven point scale.

Global Custodian highlighted KRFS’ continuing regional expansion and they go on to say, “the addition of performance and attribution functionality to fund manager reports and a variety of enhancements to both investor and fund of funds reporting help lift scores in all these areas to unarguably high levels.”

“Kaufman Rossin Fund Services is without a doubt the best hedge fund administrator that we have used in the last 20-plus years,” concludes a client. “They are dedicated, motivated and competitive in their service offerings and pricing.”

“We are in an industry where transparency is expected if not demanded,” said Jorge R. de Cardenas, Director with KRFS. “KRFS believes this survey provides transparency over the administration community and we as a firm welcome the scrutiny. The administration space is as dynamic as the clients it serves,” said de Cardenas. “In the wake of changing regulations, managers and investors continue to seek independent firms who provide strict operational controls and accounting integrity to the business of managing private funds.”

The 16th annual survey of hedge fund administrators is presented by Global Custodian, the leading magazine covering the international securities services business. Hedge fund administrators are rated by a sample group of their clients in 15 service areas including client service and relationship management, value for service, fund accounting and valuation, investor services, reporting to investors, reporting to fund managers among other regions.
