Kaufman Rossin CPAs & Advisors, Florida’s largest independent accounting and advisory firms, has opened an office in Palm Beach Gardens.

The Miami-based firm’s 5,200-square-foot workspace in the North Tower of DiVosta Towers marks its second location in Palm Beach County, located about 40 miles north of its Boca Raton office at One Town Center.

Situated at 3835 PGA Blvd., the new office will start off with 35 to 45 team members on the fourth floor of the recently built tower. According to Cushman & Wakefield, the leasing broker for the building, rental rates are listed at $55 per square foot.

Rick Slater, Kaufman Rossin’s managing principal for Palm Beach and Broward, said this move aligns with Kaufman Rossin’s strategy to meet the growing demand for financial and advisory services in Palm Beach County, driven by the high-income migration of businesses and individuals to the area during and after the pandemic.

“We thought it was a natural, organic growth area for us to continue to matriculate north and to really capture Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and all those areas that are continuing to grow and see a lot of expansion,” he said.

In addition to clients, the workspace will accommodate Kaufman Rossin’s newly hired and existing employees residing in areas even farther north such as Stuart and Vero Beach.

The office will provide services ranging from tax and transaction advisory to accounting and assurance work. Additionally, it will offer specialized support tailored to ultra-high-net-worth families, private equity firms and hedge funds.

Slater said Kaufman Rossin plans to expand beyond the current space in the future. The firm holds first rights of refusal on office spaces exceeding 7,500 square feet within the DiVosta Towers and a planned mixed-use building on PGA Boulevard, which will be developed by Gatsby Enterprises, the same owner as the current property.

“The intention is to grow,” he said. “Our plan is to reach 40 to 50 people at this office, and ultimately outgrow it, and move into a new space.”
