Marcela Varela promoted to forensic, advisory & valuation services principal at Kaufman Rossin 

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Marcela Varela, CVA, CDFA®, to principal in the Forensic, Advisory and Valuation services practice.

Varela leads family law engagements with a focus on advising high-net-worth individuals and private clients in divorce cases. Her experience includes the preparation of financial affidavits, child support guideline calculations, lifestyle analyses and equitable distribution.

Additionally, she performs business valuations related to family law matters, estate and gift tax matters and computes economic damages in personal injury, wrongful death and employment law matters.

Varela is a Certified Valuation Analyst and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. She is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. In addition, she is an associate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Forensic and Valuation Services Section.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida International University.
