Michelle Morris-Penn promoted to family office services principal at Kaufman Rossin 

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 100 firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Michelle Morris-Penn, CPA, FCCA, CISA, to principal in the Family Office Services practice.

Morris-Penn has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance and provides outsourced accounting and internal control solutions to high net-worth individuals, non-profits, family offices and their closely held businesses. She specializes in financial accounting, investment and grant reporting, budgeting, fixed asset and property management, IT audit, and implementing efficient operational systems for clients in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and hospitality.

Morris-Penn is a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council and leads the Black Opportunities for Leadership & Development (BOLD) employee resource group. She also remains active in the community and serves as president for the St. Andrew High Old Girls Association’s South Florida chapter. Additionally, she is the Head of the Florida Chapter of the ACCA North America, a member of ACCA UK, a member overseas of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and a member of the South Florida chapter of Information Systems Audit and Control Association.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, and is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
