N.K. “Trip” Tripathy of Kaufman Rossin appointed to Beacon Council Board
Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and the largest independent accounting firm in Florida, announced that Business Consulting Services Principal N.K. “Trip” Tripathy, MBA, CPA, CGMA, has been appointed to serve on The Miami-Dade Beacon Council’s Board of Directors for fiscal year 2022-2023, under the At Large Director category.
The Beacon Council is a public-private partnership that serves as the official economic development organization for Miami-Dade County. The council was founded in 1985 as an outgrowth of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce to focus on business recruitment, expansion and retention. The organization is led by a professional staff and board of volunteer community leaders, facilitating business growth and expansion locally, nationally and internationally.
Tripathy leads Kaufman Rossin’s C-Suite and Board Business Advisory Services practice as a principal on the firm’s Business Consulting Services team. With an extensive background in business leadership, including prior C-suite roles at large retailers and consumer products companies, he guides businesses going through rapid growth or other transformational changes, as well as those in turnaround situations. He supports management teams, boards of directors and shareholders in resolving critical issues relating to strategic growth or turnarounds, cost structuring, executive compensation, succession planning and talent management.
