MIAMI, Jan. 11, 2011 – TrialPad, an iPad app designed exclusively for litigators, expert witnesses and paralegals to present electronic evidence, is now available for purchase at the iTunes App Store. The announcement was made today by the product’s creators, Lit Software, LLC, a joint venture between Kaufman Rossin and Saurian Litigation Support.

TrialPad can be used in a trial, hearing, or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) setting and is significantly lower in cost than using professional trial presentation consultants, which is usually prohibitive for all but the largest cases. Unlike PDF readers, the app allows attorneys to organize, manage, and annotate documents and present compelling evidence to a judge or jury using projection equipment that is available in most courtrooms and law firms. In addition to saving money by eliminating the need for expensive outside consultants, TrialPad also removes the need for cumbersome trial boards.

“We are definitely seeing the iPad moving beyond just being a gadget for attorneys and instead serving as a valuable litigation tool, especially for the smaller cases where the budget doesn’t support outside consultants,” said Ian O’Flaherty, CEO of Saurian Litigation Support. “TrialPad is a unique and functional app available for attorneys. After its initial purchase, it has no recurring costs, which is a great savings benefit. It provides attorneys with all the capabilities they need to improve their results in a wide range of matters.”

TrialPad can be purchased at the ITunes App Store for a one-time cost of $89.99. More information is available atwww.trialpad.com
