Paul Blackwell promoted to assurance and advisory services principal at Kaufman Rossin 

Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Paul Blackwell, CPA, to principal in the assurance and advisory services practice. 

Blackwell leads engagements for privately held businesses, financial services companies and non-profit organizations. He performs audits and provides advisory services to local, national and international companies in various stages of growth and size. His expertise includes analyzing clients’ finances and providing insight and guidance to help them identify financial risks and opportunities so they can achieve their financial goals. 

His extensive knowledge of corporate operations, finance and internal controls allows him to spearhead audit, accounting and consulting engagements, as well as to identify opportunities for clients to restructure operations and streamline business processes. He has experience providing services in financial reporting and attestation, operational performance and internal controls, forecasting and financial modeling, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

He earned a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University. Blackwell is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
