Pelham to Lead Kaufman Rossin Wealth Advisory

Former TotalBank President Jay Pelham was named leader of Kaufman Rossin Wealth, the new financial planning practice of Miami-based CPA and advisory firm Kaufman Rossin.

Pelham joined the firm in 2018 as principal of client services.

Miami-based TotalBank was sold to City National Bank of Florida in 2018.  Prior to that, Pelham was president of the community bank for three years.

Pelham was previously executive VP of Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust, senior VP of private banking at BankUnited, and South Florida private banking manager for SunTrust Bank.

“I feel very strongly there’s an underserved financial bracket that will benefit tremendously by having a roadmap to follow,” Pelham said in a statement.

Kaufman Rossin said the new practice will function as a registered investment adviser, with the goal of helping clients craft plans to reach their financial goals through planning and investment management services.
