Peter Stratos Joins Kaufman Rossin as Principal
Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced that Peter Stratos, CPA, has joined the firm as a principal in the International Tax practice. He brings extensive knowledge to his clients on international tax planning for both individual and corporate taxation.
Stratos specializes in the areas of foreign tax credit planning, residency issues, state and local issues for international and multinational businesses, expats and inpats, pre-immigration planning, transfer pricing, compensation planning, treaty positions, entity selection, organizational structuring and withholding issues.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Stratos successfully founded an international tax consulting firm that offered strategic international tax and business advisory services and was acquired by Rose Financial Solutions.
He has presented to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), state societies and international organizations on various international tax topics and has also written several articles and issue papers covering these subjects. He has been recognized by the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) and Virginia Business Magazine as a “Super CPA” in corporate taxation.
Stratos is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Virginia. He is also a member of the AICPA, the VSCPA and the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Liberty University and a master’s degree in taxation from George Mason University.
