Richard Salinas named COO of Kaufman Rossin
Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent accounting firm in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Richard Salinas to Chief Operating Officer.
Salinas evaluates, implements and optimizes firm processes and technology and leverages data to drive efficient operations. He develops and monitors key performance indicators across the firm’s practice areas and increases transparency, accountability and enables better decision making at all levels of the firm. Additionally, he leverages his management background and people skills to enhance the employee and client experience.
Salinas is an accomplished COO and manager with over eight years of leadership experience. Most recently, he served as COO for a multinational fine jewelry company where he managed the day-to-day administrative, financial and operational functions of the manufacturing, distribution and retail businesses.
During his public accounting career, Salinas worked with clients in the legal, technology, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, real estate, healthcare, and financial services industries. He has provided clients with a variety of services, including accounting, internal and external audits, regulatory compliance recommendations, operational assessments, process improvement, software selections, outsourced C-Suite management and risk assessments.

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University and a Master of Accounting degree from Nova Southeastern University.
