Richard Slater Joins Kaufman Rossin
Miami-based Kaufman Rossin (FY19 net revenue of $77.8 million) announces that Richard Slater has joined the firm, and was admitted as a principal of services and growth.
Slater will focus on expanding the firm’s presence in the Florida counties of Broward and Palm Beach, while also working with clients and firm professionals across all the firm’s offices. He will work closely with firm operations, service line and industry leaders to develop and execute strategies for expanding services and reach; recruiting, developing and mentoring talent; and improving performance and profitability, while improving the client experience.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Slater served as a regional MP and executive committee member for a top 20 national firm while also holding several other leadership positions, including firm growth partner and chair of campus recruiting.
Slater has three decades of experience in tax and business consulting. He provides specialized advisory services to clients, with deep expertise in corporate tax, mergers and acquisitions, capital structuring, tax restructuring plans, business incentives and grants, public/private development plans, and state and local taxation.
Slater serves on several community-based organizations, has been named among the 20 most influential business leaders in the state by West Virginia Executive magazine, and will be inducted into the Marshall University Business Hall of Fame this month.
