Two Kaufman Rossin Professionals Appointed to Nonprofit Boards
Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, continues its longstanding tradition of community involvement with the announcement that two of its executives have been appointed to leadership positions at South Florida nonprofit organizations.
Edward Gannon, a principal with the firm who specializes in forensic accounting services, will serve as a member of the board of directors and the development and programs committee of the MCCJ. The organization is a nonsectarian organization that seeks to advance understanding and respect among people of all cultures, religions and races.
Erin Cannon, a senior accountant with the firm’s entrepreneurial services department, has joined the Oakland Park/Wilton Manors Business Council as a board member. The business council is an association within the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, which represents approximately 1,500 businesses from every industry and profession in the South Florida Community.
Kaufman, Rossin’s professionals are involved in more than 120 organizations in South Florida, and the firm supports several local fundraisers and sponsors events throughout the year, such as the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
