Andrew S. Taubman is a principal at Kaufman Rossin where he is charged with the development of the firm’s client base. He has a unique combination of technical accounting and tax acumen coupled with a solid understanding of how business works. These skills, together with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and third parties, have often proven to be a successful formula for our clients.
Andy graduated from the University of Florida in August 1983, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He presently lectures in coordination with national investment brokerage firms at seminars on income tax matters pertaining to retirement programs. He is key in the firm’s international services. He provides ongoing financial and tax consulting to the firm’s middle market clients. He also speaks regularly before business groups on business combinations, current corporate tax issues and on management of professional service firms.
Andy has been actively involved in numerous community projects and community development endeavors over the years. Currently, he is a member of the Executives' Association of Fort Lauderdale. He served as a committee chair for Jewish Community Foundation PAC and has been a top fundraiser and participant in bike races both domestically and internationally.
He is also on the IRS’ list of Certifying Acceptance Agents.
