Overview
Biji Balan is the director of human resources for Kaufman Rossin’s India team. With over 20 years of expertise in workforce planning, recruitment, and talent development, Biji plays a pivotal role in shaping the HR function in India.
In her current role, she is responsible for hiring top talent, ensuring HR compliance, coordinating performance evaluations, overseeing HR operations, and designing employee engagement initiatives.
Before joining Kaufman Rossin, Biji worked as a senior human resources consultant. In this capacity, she partnered with a UK-based online tutoring start-up, a winner of the London Business School Incubator Programme, to enhance and streamline HR processes.
Biji holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
