Overview
Carlos Diaz specializes in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and employs his knowledge of software, finance and healthcare to support clients in achieving their business goals.
He joined Kaufman Rossin in 2017, with experience in project roles in a variety of industries. His knowledge of both engineering and business combine to create a project manager with a problem-solving, deadline driven approach. At Kaufman Rossin he works with clients ranging from investment firms to community development agencies.
In past assignments, Carlos has worked to troubleshoot issues for a technology firm related to everything from Windows to satellite signals and server farms; researched wireless communication scenarios involving mobile equipment with device-to-device capabilities; and worked with customers from all around the United States troubleshooting and solving urgent issues. In one role in the energy industry, he used his combined engineering and finance knowledge to design, build and implement a tool that improved efficiency in sample selection and testing for supply audits within the company, achieving time savings of over 29 days for particular information requests and automating testing that was previously done by hand.
Carlos earned his Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and his MBA from the University of Miami.
