Overview
Carlos is a senior manager in Kaufman Rossin’s tax practice. Carlos joined the firm in 2015 and has been specializing in state and local taxes since 2017.
Carlos assists clients in a variety of industries with the planning and preparation of state and local income, franchise, sales, and use tax returns. He oversees the preparation of voluntary disclosure agreement applications and resolution of notices and audits.
Carlos is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Within the Florida Institute of Public Accountants, Carlos is a member of the State Tax Committee and the Young CPA Committee. He has also been a presenter on state taxes for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Carlos is a Certified Public Accountant. Carlos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business management from Florida State University and his Master of Accountancy degree from Florida International University.
